IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS INSTALLING
Adobe offers a free helpline for installing Acrobat Reader.
The toll-free number is 1800-809188. Tell the support
person you are having trouble installing Acrobat Reader 3.0
using the file named
Ar16e30.exe
which is in drive
D:\ACROBAT
(assuming D:\ is your CD-ROM drive; if it is not, substitute
the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive.) The support person
should be able to help you install Acrobat Reader 3.0
successfully.
If problems persist please ring our HELPLINE on
02-42331773 during business hours Monday to Friday.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Read the note below ONLY IF YOU WISH TO INSTALL MANUALLY.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Acrobat Setup program will recommend
that you to close all Windows programs. It is generally
not necessary to close this SCHOOL PROJECTS program,
since you need it to launch the Acrobat install program.
However, there is a slight chance that keeping it open
could cause some problems.
If you prefer, you can close the SCHOOL PROJECTS program
and install Adobe Acrobat Reader manually.
Select "Quit" on the Installation Menu to exit the
SCHOOL PROJECTS INSTALLATION PROGRAM.
You must now manually install Adobe Acrobat Reader. In
the Windows Main Menu, click on "File", "Run", then
"Browse" to click on the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
Double-click on the sub-directory named "Acrobat".
Select "Programs" in the "List Files of Type" box,
and you will see the program named "Ar16e30.exe"
Click on this, then click on "OK". Installation
will begin. When you have completed your installation,
you will return to the blue Installation Screen. Read the
Instructions for INSTALL NEXT if you wish to install that
option manually, or click on INSTALL NEXT button for
automatic installation.
